One time. $1.99. Paid once, yours forever. We don't do recurring billing — feels too modern. Like a record you bought in 1976, you keep it.

How does the weekly digest get delivered?+

We use the email on your account (managed by Clerk). Friday mornings, around 8am your local-ish time, you get a single short email with 3-5 notable music dates from the upcoming week. No spam, no marketing. Unsubscribe by deleting your account.

Can I gift Pro to someone?+

Not yet — gift codes are coming. For now, the easiest move is to upgrade, generate a card on their birthday, and share the link. They'll see what they're missing.

What's the 'Vinyl B-Side' thing?+

Every date has a default lineup curated by one of our 14 fictional DJs. Pro users can flip the record — same date, different DJ, different snarky margin review, lineup reshuffled. Two takes on the same day in history.

Will my card still work if I don't pay?+

Yes. Today's card refreshes daily forever, free. You also get 3 custom-date lookups per month. Pro just removes the ceiling.

Where does the music history come from?+

Wikipedia's 'on this day' feed, filtered down to the 5 most notable music events by a Claude model trained for this beat. YouTube clips are resolved server-side. Same date returns the same card forever — it's deterministic.
